Found a nice Autumnal theme over at angels_attic. I love the colours in it and the graphics used. Really must get myself a paid account sometime and try making my own theme.

In other news, I have restarted building the Endeavour and have also started collecting issues for the HMS Victory. Not sure where I am going to put the HMS Victory, as it's quite large ( Read more... )

I have my own LJ community, based on model ships. I have photos of my HMB Endeavour build on it and once I have managed to get the HMS Victory, I will add photos of that to the community as well.

Some photos of my build so far, the hull is just about ready for the 2nd layer hull planking to go on. I just need to add a bit of filler to the bow and stern. I'll be taking some more photos soon. I have done quite a bit of sanding of the hull since these photos were taken.

These are photos of my HMB Endeavour build.

Well I have started yet another model ship build, the 'Endeavour' of 'Captain Cook' fame.

The ship started life as the 'Earl of Pembroke' and was launched in June 1764. The was was acquired 28 March 1768 as Earl of Pembroke and commissioned 26 May 1768.

The model goes to together well, (Issue 1 parts anyway), the partwork runs for 100 issues with 17 ( Read more... )
